Those of us in the online marketing world often benchmark
our success on the cherished six-figure income level. That
is, we often first shoot for earning $100k per year, because
upon reaching that level we would consider ourselves successes.
After reaching $100k per year, then we set our sites on
multiples of that. At some point, we shift our goals to
a 7-figure annual earnings. That is of course $1 Million or
more, with you being at 8-figures once you reach $10 Million.
I was recently looking at some data that said if you live
in the U.S., are a single-person household, and earn above
$103,000 then you are upper-income range.
If you’re in a 2-person household, then you need to break
$131,000 to be considered upper income range, and that
number keeps going up as the number of people in your
When I looked at that data, I quickly saw that most of the
people that I know outside of online marketing fall into
the lower-income range. In a single-person household,
you need around $34,400 to break out of the lower income
Many of the people that I know would fall into the lower
income range, with many easily being at the “poverty level.”
So, that begged two questions:
1) How realistic is it to shoot for a six-figure income?
Is it even reasonable for the average person to set such a
2) What does it take to reach that income level if it IS
In response to the first question, I sincerely believe
the YOU decide what you are going to settle for. A large
part of “the game” is mindset.
Having numerous friends who are multi-millionaires, and
even having been close friends with one billionaire, I
have no doubt that it is possible. The thing is that
you have to figure out, or be taught, the HOW part.
That brings us to question number two, and the easiest
way to do it is to find someone who has already done it
and model them. In modeling them, you could just
stand back and observe… attempting to reverse engineer
things, but you are likely to miss some critical factors.
I, and many of my colleagues, earn our income from
selling information products in various formats.
With an information product, you merely create a product
that solve a pressing/painful problem, and then you
offer it to those who want it, know that they need it,
and are willing to pay for it.
The beauty of many info products is that you create
them once, and then you keep selling that same product
over and over again… selling some products almost
So, let’s break the numbers down:
To make $100k in a year, just divide 100,000 by 365
and you’ll see that you need to average 274 per day.
Or if your goal were $1 Million, then you need ten times
that much or $2740 per day.
If you are selling a product paying you $47 per unit
sold, then you need to sell 274/47 or 6 units per day.
If you had 6 different $47 products, then you need to
average only 1 sale of each product per day.
In my world I offer products ranging in price from
free (lead generators) up to $25,000 (coaching), so
those number are very small to me. On top of that,
we have a variety of products within one “funnel” so
a person buys a frontend product and that eventually
leads to them purchasing other products and services.
As you can see, when you crunch the numbers, earning
six figures per year online is VERY easy… when you
know how to do just a few simple things.
So, the question then becomes, “What are those few
Well, I have a friend who once held down THREE
minimum-wage jobs at the same time, and he really
struggled just to get by.
Then, a kind stranger showed him the HOW.
He did just as he was taught, and since that has
happened, he has generated around $17 Million online,
selling info products in various formats.
My friend, Nick, recently wrote a book sharing
exactly what he is doing to enjoy a dream lifestyle.
He sent me a review copy, and I instantly LOVED it
because I saw that this book was going to help a
lot of people.
Nick had his book on the market but I understand
that it was going to be unavailable after a few
If it’s still available, you can get it here:
If it’s not available, hopefully he has set up some
type of notification list so that he can let you know
when it IS available again.
Go grab Nick’s book now before it is too late!
To your success,
