As I roll into the 100 Day Challenge, part of my intention is to
earn at least $1 million in 100 Days.
I have no doubt that I will accomplish this, since all that I
need to do is “break out the big guns” 🙂
An example of that is… I’ve mentioned that I’m a member of ITEX
(the largest barter club in North America).
I earn ITEX “barter dollars” by selling my goods and services
which include a ton of digital products ranging in price up to
$1997, and personal services prices up to $20,000 that I can
perform in “relatively” little time.
I can then turn around and use my ITEX dollars to purchase MAJOR
media, such as newspaper, magazine, television, radio, and online
advertising.
Examples of magazine advertising include advertising in magazines
like Entrepreneur, and lots of niche publications.
Examples of newspaper advertising include The Wall Street
Journal, The New York Times, and lots of others.
Example of radio advertising include 15 second – 1 minute ads on
lots of talk radio stations.
As I explained in my video on Understanding Business Barter,
advertising is a “perishable” meaning if a media source doesn’t
sell a particular advertising spot today, they can’t sell today’s
advertising tomorrow. So, they offer the excess capacity on
“trade” (barter)… or that radio station can just let the DJ’s
chatter about NOTHING 🙂
Hotel rooms, timeshares, and other accommodations are another
example of a perishable. You can’t sell today’s hotel room
tomorrow, so why not offer that excess capacity to barter
partners… which COUNTLESS hotels do.
A N Y W A Y… I just wanted to show you guys that I’m only half
as crazy as I first appear.
