They mean so much to me to read them about your mother and grandmother. My great-grandmother raised me and she was from Greenville, SC. She told me stories of the KKK and other racist groups she had to endure. But she also told me comforting stories of how they cooked to fuel the soul. What they did back then still amazes me and I hope to learn from them every day.
