Back in December of 2002, I attended my first Internet marketing
seminar, where I was invited to speak, and was BITTEN by the
So, I decided to host my own seminar.
Since, I knew absolutely nothing about hosting a seminar, I
turned to my friend Fred Gleeck, whom I had met at that seminar
in December. Fred taught a Seminar On Seminars… basically how
to put host a seminar inexpensively, and NOT lose your shirt.
While hanging out with Fred, he mentioned that one of the easiest
ways to get very cheap, yet highly-targeted clicks was to buy
either expired domain names or common mispelling of domain names.
Both of these got lots of type-in traffic at the search engines,
and if you own either type of domain name, you can literally get
clicks for a fraction of a penny each.
For example, let’s say that you purchase a recently expired
domain name (which still has excellent search engine positioning
and gets lots of clicks)…
Let’s say that that domain name costs you just $9 per year, and
gets an average of just 200 clicks per day.
That’s 365 days X 200 clicks per day, or 73,000 clicks for a mere
$9, which is …. well, my calculator says that it’s
2.602739726027397e-4 per click.
You do the math and tell me what that is. I just know that it’s
WAAAAYYY below a penny per click, AND it’s target traffic.
People are visiting the search engines and typing in the terms
that your domain is already indexed (and being found) for!
You drive highly targeted traffic to your website
where you capture them into your funnel by offering an ethical
Then you follow up with them and slowly convert them into customers.
It’s not generally an overnight process. It takes time to build
relationships with people who will gradually grow to know, like, and
trust you… and buy from you over and over again.
To your success,
