It’s no secret that only a tiny percentage of subscribers to
most email lists will open any given broadcast.
Many third-party list hosts will allow you to send another
email to your unopens.

Anyway, I’ve been trained that if a subscriber hasn’t
opened an email after 4-6 hours than they probably won’t
… and in fact they will probably never even see that email.
Therefore it’s a good practice to send a second broadcast to
your unopens. Sometimes you may want to change your subject
line, or even parts of the email body, so see if that
improves your opens or clickthru’s.
